Taliesin (II) at Stesion Fain with a goods train in the mid 1930s. There are three covered goods vans next to the locomotive, the nearest of which appears to be No. 1 (mk3 quarrymen's conversion with sliding doors) followed by a long string of empty slate waggons.

Note the sign informing passengers to change for the LMS (whose station was situated just over North Western Road) and Glan y Pwll School overlooking the site.
