Fairlies crossing at Tan y Bwlch Station circa 1900 - 1908. Taliesin (I), fresh from heavy overhaul, is in charge of the the Up train, with James Spooner on the Down. The Up train includes a mk3 quarrymen's carriage, Small Birmingham 4-wheeler carriages, Bowsiders Nos 19 & 20, and one of the Curly Roofed Vans. The van coupled to James Spooner is one of the newer Brown Marshalls vehicles (No. 4 or 5), followed by Bowsiders Nos 17 & 18, and one of the Ashbury tourist carriages. The double arm signal and wooden footbridge are prominent in this Edwardian scene.
