Gravity train at Tro Gatiau Bach below Garnedd Tunnel, 1934. Brake Van No. 7 (former mk3 quarrymen's carriage rebuilt with double balconies) and a wooden 4-ton coal waggon are visible at the back of the train. The front of the train is on Creuau Bank. Tan y Bwlch Station can be glimpsed in the distance.

In the foreground the post and wire fence is a 4 hole termination post type. At this location a closed off footpath crosses the track at the point where the wall coping stops.
