Spion Kop Incline at Rhiwbryfdir, 1949 - 1951. The empty 2-ton slate waggons are all LNWR types, two of which are braked. Slate from this incline would then proceed via Pont Goch viaduct on to Glanydon Tip, and down the Penybont Incline to the ex-LNWR Yard in Blaenau Ffestiniog and onward travel by standard-gauge.
