Title
Princess and Merddin Emrys outside Boston Lodge Engine Shed. AGM 1956
Date
11/03/1956
Princess and Merddin Emrys outside Boston Lodge Engine Shed in preparation for the Society AGM, 11th March 1956. Both are in the same condition they were left when the railway closed, being the two last steam locomotives in operation. The smoke coming from the chimneys was faked. Note how Princess has been robbed of much of its brass work during the closure period. The whistles, name and works plates are all missing, as is the saddle tank filler lid.

The figure in the grease top hat appears to be Allan Garraway, with possibly Fred Boughey stood next to him.
