The locomotive's painted "dustbin" dome covers and chimneys have been replaced by those previously carried by Merddin Emrys, and the nameplates lowered. The triangular building plates, metal strips on top of side tanks, and electric headlights have been removed, and a softer "heritage" paint scheme applied.
