Tan y Manod Exchange Yard. Whilst there had always been a yard at this location going back to the original Festiniog & Blaenau Railway for the collection of slate from Craig Ddu, the complex seen here was purpose designed for the placing of slate waggons onto the GWR-built transporter waggons.
