Bocoal inspection at Fallgate Works, Ashover Light Railway circa 1963. The ex-WD D-type bogie waggon is loaded with limestone, the mineral traffic at this location continuing long after the rest of the railway ceased operations. Whilst the FR did not acquired any complete waggons from here (being heavily worn out from heavy use on mineral traffic), the Midlands Group did acquired some parts including couplings subsequently used on Van No. 51.
