Glan y Pwll, August 1972. The crossing gates are still in situ in the distance, whilst the remains of the engine shed can be seen on the left. The sheep benefit from the vegetation that has grown up over the years. This was taken around a year before the depot was brought back to life as a base from which to travel south as far as the Dolrhedyn gap.
