File metadata
Moel Tryfan at Dinas Junction circa 1927. The repair patch on the smokebox door seen here is present in photographs between 1924 and about 1928. The locomotive has been cut down to work through to the FR and carries a sand bucket on the front apron. Ashbury summer carriages can be seen in the background. The locomotive ran bunker first towards Porthmadog during this period which together with the carriages in the background and the trackwork suggests this was taken outside the engine and carriage sheds. There is an object in the far right of the shot that might be a glimpse of the engine shed.
