Dragon Cutting under construction.

Dragon Cutting under construction, August 1970. Blasting was used for all the rock cuttings to fragment the rock for ease of handling. The bank on the outside of the cutting was later removed to widen and improve the formation. The site at the other end of this cutting was called New Moon.
