Feldbahn Bogie Waggon chassis near Brookes' Quarry, 18 October 1952. These vehicles were specifically purchased to transport the granite produced at this quarry. The waggon is situated about midway along the loop line which ran between Tunnel Cottage and the quarry manager's office (see iBase 2881). Note the boundary fence in the background, beyond which flows the Afon Ystradau. The river bordered a rough field system which in turn backed on to the mainline.
