No. 10 Merddin Emrys on Boston Lodge curve with a Down passenger train, Hunslet Hundred Gala 1 - 3 May 1993. The train is exclusively old company bogie carriages and vans, formed in numerical order: Nos 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20. In the main yard is Quarry Hunslet Alice (mid-restoration) and Penrhyn Quarry Mainline Hunslet Charles. On the far right in front of Glan y Mor carriage shed can be glimpsed Upnor Castle and Kerr Stuart "Wren" class Peter Pan.

Note the compressor cabinet to the right of the erecting shop (built by Ged Perks) and the bullhead track which still retains wooden keys. In the foreground the cover check rail for the set of points transitions into a running guard rail for the curve.
