Boston Lodge Erecting Shop Extension. Silver Jubilee Open Weekend 15 - 16 September 1979. Item 29 shows Small Birmingham 4-wheeler carriages Nos 5 and 6 (formerly 2) undergoing overhaul. Carriage No. 3 or 4 just poking into shot on the right. These carriages were benefiting from heavy overhauls courtesy of Ron Jarvis.

Item 30 is adjacent, being the Sheet Metal Working Area in the New Erecting Shop. Note the Tin Car (No. 119/120) roof under construction in the background and the old wind up telephone hanging on the shed wall behind No. 5.
