Moelwyn and double balcony old Brake Van No. 1 at Boston Lodge Works circa 1958. The train is straddling the points for 2 & 3-Road. An interesting feature is the pony truck made from one of the German Feldbahn bogie waggons, complete with the old drawbar under the chopper. Note the unusual styling of the original name plates. The Long Shed side annex is behind the locomotive. The vehicle in the foreground is a wooden coal waggon in use for locomotive fuelling alongside the outside pit, newly installed at this time.
