Spoil Tipping Archer's Dam (Culvert 2) during the Deviation, early 1974. Temporary tramway to remove spoil from New Tunnel North cutting, which was being blasted and dug out at the time. The spoil is being tipped to create the new formation alongside Llyn Ystradau. The actual tunnel work would not commence until the following year.
