Merddin Emrys arriving at Porthmadog Harbour Station circa April 1923. Very likely a test train on the WHR which was shortly to open along its full length route. The carriages are all FR stock, Small Birmingham 4-wheelers No. 3 and porthole semi-open No. 12 or 13, Ashbury No. 21, bogie carriage No. 15, and Brown Marshalls Van No. 4 or 5 (not yet rebuilt with passenger compartments). The driver is Jarrett Davies.
