The ALCo Mountaineer taking water at Porthmadog Harbour Station, 5 July 1973. The locomotive is carrying the bell from its predecessor. Fuel tanker No. 64 (formerly Hudson Toastrack carriage No. 42) visible behind. The water tank would be replaced by a much larger unit not long after this scene.
