Taliesin (II) at Porthmadog Harbour Station after repairs by Vulcan Foundry, 2 September 1956 - FRCo Postcard. This is almost certainly the locomotive's first test run following overhaul at Boston Lodge by staff from the Vulcan Foundry. Note how the locomotive is yet to be repainted and still carries its Old Company dark green livery. General Manager Allan Garraway can be seen on the fireman's side with another individual. The gentleman on the platform next to the old starter signal could be Reverend Timothy Phillips. De-turfing of tracks in the station has been undertaken.
