Down mixed goods train leaving Penrhyn Station, July 1936. Based on other photographs in the series, the locomotive is Palmerston. The train includes what looks like one of the double balcony brake vans, granite waggons (converted from 3-ton slate) and possibly a wooden coal waggon. Note the footpath on the left heading alongside the track towards Bron Gwynedd.
