Pont Croesor.

Pont Croesor circa 1946. The Brine Tank Waggon is still in place atop the crib of sleepers (a makeshift water tank for locomotives). This section of the Welsh Highland was spared from the general dismantling some five years earlier in order to preserve access to the Croesor Tramway. By the time of this photograph, even that traffic had ceased.
