Snowdon Street Level Crossing, 9 October 1948. Beyond the crossing lies the junction between the Festiniog & Portmadoc Slate Works branch (former Gorsedda line) and the Snowdon Flour Mill loop line. The WHR mainline continues on towards the Cambrian Crossing and Porthmadog New Stations (long since closed by the time of this scene). At this time, this was the edge of Porthmadog. The view of the School has since been lost.
