Moel Tryfan inside Boston Lodge Erecting Shop, 10 July 1936. The locomotive is stripped for evaluation and repair on 2-Road. The tubes were removed and some stays replaced but the overhaul was never completed and the various components were left strewn across the Works during the closure period. In the background can be glimpsed the saddle tank and cab of Princess which was undergoing an overhaul at the same time. Slate waggon wheelsets in the foreground.
