Gysgfa Cutting in the 1970's. The track is newly laid flat bottom rail (60A rail rolled at BSC Workington) purchased around 1974 when the FR and TR combined to order rail on the back of an EAR order, allowing the benefit of economies of scale. Note the lack of baseplates.
