File metadata
Gravity Train at Moelwyn Tunnel North halt in the 1920's. The first two 2-ton slate waggons are fitted with ratchet brakes, both firmly applied to control the train's descent. Note the wooden waggon midway through the rake. Tunnel Cottage and branch line to Brookes Quarries through the gate on the right. Moelwyn Zinc Mine dominates the hillside behind the train, giving a good view of the main incline down to the FR's branch.
