Dduallt Tank Curve, 9 April 1968. Down train as seen from Linda. This is taken three days after the re-opening to Dduallt. The need to top and tail reflects the run round loop at Dduallt not yet being complete. Prince, having waited in the siding, is now returning the train to Tan y Bwlch. Usually the train locomotive (Linda) would follow down and take the train on to Porthmadog with Prince returning to Dduallt to repeat the cycle. This is probably the last train of the day so the entire formation is returning down the line together. This was Prince's last operational season before it was withdrawn and put into storage pending overhaul. The train is comprised entirely of barn carriages; Observation Car No. 100, Buffet Car No. 14, and 3rd class saloons Nos 104 & 105.
