Curly Roofed Van No. 3, Covered Goods Van No. 63, and slate waggons at Porthmadog Harbour Station. Other visible waggons include a short slab, wooden coals, and one of the Hudson bogie flat waggons (ex-Toastrack bogie carriage underframe). Note the chain on the rear of the brake van for releasing waggons from the rear hook without dismounting from the balcony. The reasonable condition of the van's bodywork when compared to other dated scenes suggests this photograph was taken around 1949 or earlier.
