Welsh Pony as Top Shunter, having just passed under Dorfil Bridge with a rake of slate waggons, 20 July 1934. The visible waggons are LNWR and GWR built, and that as Top Shunter it is likely taking Oakeley produce from the Dinas Branch to one or both of the standard-gauge transshipment yards. Note the sand pot lid is resting above the front handrail.
