Moelwyn and Taliesin (II) on Boston Lodge outside pit circa 1958. Granite waggon (converted from 3-ton slate) 827 and a wooden coal waggon are visible. Note the stacked fire wood and Moelwyn's early pony truck configuration using the slate waggon frame. Both locomotives are equipped with chopper plus link & pin couplings.
