Title
Lower Parc Incline on the Croesor Tramway.
Lower Parc Incline on the Croesor Tramway circa 1930, with telegraph poles heading up towards the drumhouse and Croesor village. One of the Mowatt children posing for the camera with the loaded FR and Croesor slate waggons awaiting collection on left hand siding, likely by horse, although FR locomotives are said to have occasionally worked this section. Note the stub point in the foreground.

The mineral waggons (probably 2-ton vehicles) on the right are on the sharply curved siding, the stub point for which may be seen on the right hand track, that leads to both the incline into Parc Quarry and a warehouse or powder magazine at the foot of the incline. The position of the waggons indicates that they are on the separate tracks of the short loop and were likely used to supply coal. The incline is out of sight in the foliage on the right. Parc Quarry tips and Moelwyn Mawr on skyline upper right.
