File metadata
Baldwin 590 approaching Bryn y Felin River Bridge circa 1935. The carriage is non-glazed Ashbury summer carriage No. 27 (ex-NWNGR No. 13), lettered "Welsh Highland Rly" in cast iron letters, and painted pink, which colour it retained until the auction of the stock. The Baldwin has been turned to face north, so this scene is from the FR lease period 34-36. The passengers in the front compartments appear to be Cub Scouts on a summer outing. On the other side of the river is the road bridge.
