Terminus of Dinas Branch and entrance to LNWR Tunnel, summer 1887. Llechwedd wharf foreground with LNWR single plank waggons, apparently not transporters. Transporter loading turn tables and ramps evident (also at Oakeley wharf). Cramped location very evident, remains of temporary station to right of tunnel mouth. Oakeley wharf nearly deserted except for coal waggons and a single LNWR waggon. Empty slate waggons on the FR bound for Llechwedd.
