Derelict rolling stock at Porthmadog Harbour Station, 1949 - 1951. Curly Roofed Van No. 3 and Covered Goods Van No. 63 on the platform road in the background. The wooden mineral waggons in the foreground are in an advanced state of disrepair. The one closest to the camera is a large 4-ton waggon based upon its design and the faint tare weight markings 1-9-1. The other waggon appears to be slightly smaller (lower and narrower) probably having been rated as a 3-ton vehicle. They were primarily used for coal traffic but would have carried a wide variety of other goods.
