Little Giant at Beddgelert with FR train from Porthmadog. The dual air-vacuum brake van on the left is No. 4 (converted mk3 quarrymen's carriage). Being built primarily for passenger traffic, unlike other brake van conversions, it was not given guard balconies, and retained the side door entrances. It is however fitted with large end windows and NWNG pattern dumb buffers.
