Title
Merddin Emrys on up passenger at Blaenau Ffestiniog LNW.
Merddin Emrys on up passenger at Blaenau Ffestiniog LNW Stesion Fain, 1929. The carriage shed is to the rear at high level. The first two carriages are porthole semi-open Small Birmingham 4-wheelers 11 & 12, followed by a bowsider and then Brown Marshalls No. 4 van. This was rebuilt from a full van in 1928/9 which gives a front end date to the picture, but that apart it could be any time up to 1939, except when Merddin had her 1934 rebuild. This is the point where the diverted route into Blaenau diverges from the original route, you could say this is the most northerly bit of the original FR to survive.
