Princess on link line (former WHR Connection) by Glaslyn Foundry circa 1939 on Bottom Shunter duties. Note the battery bracket fitted to the right hand side of the smokebox for the Baldwin's Tractor's electric lamp. The limited photographs show it being used to hold an auxiliary tool box instead. This fitting was removed come the war. With the WHR mothballed, but still under FR lease, the link lines continued to be used for goods traffic, possibly including Croesor. A common duty was the collection of flour from Snowdon Mill.
