Derelict track at Penlan below Footbridge 2, 7 May 1974. Pantcelyn house directly in front of photographer to the right of the line. Remains of former bakery in foreground. The housing to the left of the railway would also be pulled down in years to come, a stark consequence of the severe depopulation in the area as industrial jobs dried up. As well as Footbridge 2, in the foreground the abutment for the lost Penlan Footbridge is also visible.
