The Peckett in Boston Lodge Bottom Yard on 3-Road, November 1957. It had been acquired from the Harrogate Gas Company to augment traffic whilst other engines are being overhauled. It had cost £750. Delivered gauge 2ft, the wheels were repitched at Bristol (1958) to FR Gauge 1-11 5/8'' (60cm). On 2-Road, Brown Marshalls Vans Nos 4 & 5 (carriages 11 & 12) are in the course of renovation. No. 4 would shortly be rebuilt as an observation car. The Long Shed annex is immediately to the left of the photographer.
