Little Wonder circa 1880 at Duffws. The brake blocks are now cast iron, the sandpots raised onto the tank fronts and the whistles outside the cab. The fireman's cravat and fisherman bucket hat are striking when matched with the more usual light cotton jacket and trousers. The locomotive appears to be coupled to a 3-ton slate waggon - note inside bearing 1-ton open goods No. 6 on rear siding fitted with wooden brake blocks. What appears to be a tarpaulin sheeted waggon is just out of shot.
