Porthmadog from Ynys Tywyn.

An early view of Porthmadog Harbour seen from the top of Ynys Tywyn circa 1871. The Ballast bank is in its early stages of construction and South Snowdon Wharf is yet to be constructed. The two road carriage shed for Harbour Station is just visible over the top of the houses (Britannia Terrace) in the foreground. Note the partially built ship on the foreshore.
