Small Birmingham No. 6.

Small Birmingham No. 6 (formerly No. 2) framework showing bar with buffers remaining from when it was built as a closed 1st class carriage and had two drop lights either side of doorway. Possibly taken at Boston Lodge Works during the 1970's in preparation for its prolonged rebuild back into original condition. The discarded bodywork was kept for subsequent use in the replica No. 1 (the Zoo Car).
