Roy Goldstraw rebuilding the ALCo Mountaineer at Boston Lodge Works, 1968. This work was being carried out following initial tests to prepare the locomotive for hauling service trains, including major surgery to the cab profile so to fit the FR loading gauge. The roof in the background shows that this work was being carried out in the still unfinished new engine shed in what was then Glan y Mor Yard.
