Note that the Pickering Brake beyond the FR Ashbury bogie had not been cut down. As the train was soupled to Prince, the Pickering had to be the dual-braked example, NWNGR No. 4. This carriage roof was lowered in March 1924 and the carriage was renumbered as WHR No. 8 in July 1924.
