Title
Up passenger train at Tan y Bwlch Station.
Up passenger train at Tan y Bwlch Station circa 1915. The centre road has been completely removed. The two bogie carriages are Nos 15 & 16 with a PW trolley on the Up line behind the Brown Marshalls van (No. 4 or 5). The glimpse of the spectacle plate and possible bottom end dome suggests that one of the Double Fairlies is taking water from the tank. The young maid from Creuau Farm stood with the train crew could be Bessie Jones. The multiple vending machines stood against the station building would vanish within a few years of this scene.
