Merddin Emrys and Up train at Porthmadog Harbour Station circa 1937. The locomotive has mechanical drain cocks and works plate with riveted addition. Matchboard 3rd class Small Birmingham 4-wheeler No. 4 behind the locomotive in dark green livery, followed by porthole No. 11 or 12 and semi-open No. 2. The roofline on the following bogie carriage suggests it is ex-WHR Ashbury summer carriage No. 23. Starter signal still in place.
