The ALCo Mountaineer taking water at Porthmadog Harbour Station, 23 August 1973. The locomotive is carrying the bell from its predecessor. The two figures are probably Dave Dunk and Phil Dowse. The water tank was a relatively modest affair and would be replaced by a much larger unit not long after this scene. The small fuel oil tanker No. 155 was built on a 3-ton slate waggon chassis.
