File metadata
Prince with a works train at Porthmadog Harbour Station circa 1964. Straight valance frames on locomotive, which is newly painted. The train consists of three Croesor waggons, flat waggon with Hudson bogies (ex-Toastrack carriage), ex-Smiths Bocoal No. 63, and single balcony Brake Van No. 2. The figures in the rear waggon indicate this may have been a party of Tadpoles. The Croesor waggons, which were used for locomotive ash, implies they have been tidying up around the water tank At least one of the waggons looks full of ash.
Britannia Foundry on right. Note that a sign has been attached to the signal post behind the train advertising the railway.
