Title
Overlooking Boston Lodge Works.
Overlooking Boston Lodge Works, March 1969. The new engine shed is evident below attached to the old carriage shed in Glan y Mor. Parked up in the siding alongside are the Peckett, Welsh Pony (without its tender, by now in use with Linda), and Princess under tarpaulins. Ex-Vale of Rheidol Van No. 59 and Upnor Castle are outside the shed. Beyond the Long Shed in the Bottom Yard, Blanche can be seen taking coal from the assorted waggons, including wooden coal No. 163, granites converted from 3-ton slate, and Cleminson No. 8 with Merddin Emrys' discarded waggon-top boiler alongside. On the Erecting Shop lines can be seen other goods stock, including Gunpowder Van No. 152 and Covered Goods Van No. 99 (formerly No. 116). Weed-Killing Hudson bogie waggon No. 67 can be seen along with another of the ex-Toastrack chassis.
