Title
Bleasdale No.44 Terminus of the Dinas Loop Line, and entrance to London and North Western tunnel
View looking north from Glanydon Tip towards Plas Weunydd, photographed in August 1887. This photograph is Plate 37 in the Spooner Album. Terminus of Dinas Branch and entrance to LNWR Tunnel, summer 1887.

Llechwedd wharf foreground with LNWR single plank waggons, apparently not transporters. Transporter loading turn tables and ramps evident (also on the Oakeley wharf left). The cramped working condition of this location are very evident, note remains of temporary station to right of tunnel mouth. The Oakeley wharf is unusually empty although there are quiet a few coal waggons (being a mixture of private Oakeley and FR vehicles, both wooden and iron 2-ton/3-ton capacity) with a single LNWR waggon. Empty slate waggons on the FR bound for Llechwedd.
