Tunnel South Cutting; permanent way in situ, ballast train and loading gauge wagon have arrived, Mountaineer in attendance with No. 100 behind. The first steam loco through the tunnel was Mountaineer on 28th May 1977, pushing waggon 63 with the tunnel gauge attached to it.
